KiranaWiFi is a grocery stall on UrbanStall in Dumka. The pictures in this post are drawings. They are not photographs of the shop, the road, or the products.

Vacation is on. The Dumka groceries list leaves KiranaWiFi out until that switch is off.

The listing

The stall page is KiranaWiFi. The listing was created on 18 June 2020. It is approved, and it is tagged Groceries & Essentials. The map pin on the listing is 1, SP College Road, Dumka, Jharkhand 814101. The address line on the same stall is Rasikpur, Das Para, near the government primary school, Ward No. 7. Both lines are stored on the listing. This post does not pick one and drop the other.

The shop wrote this note: "Free* Home Delivery of Grocery, Kirana and All Household Items in Dumka. We offer the best quality premium Products and all popular Branded Products at Best Prices in Dumka." The asterisk is in their sentence. This post does not turn that asterisk into a rupee rule. "Best prices" and "best quality" are their words.

On vacation

The stall is marked on vacation. The message on it says: "Fullfilling Backlog orders. Will be open in a while. Sorry for Inconvenience." The spelling Fullfilling is theirs. Weekly off on the stall is set to none. Vacation is separate from a weekly off. While vacation is on, the public Dumka groceries list leaves the stall out. That list only includes a stall that is approved and not on vacation. The Groceries & Essentials list for Dumka leaves KiranaWiFi out while vacation is on. The shops on that list are named in Stalls on UrbanStall in Dumka. KiranaWiFi stays findable by its own stall link. It returns to the tile when vacation is off and the stall is open.

Pickup and delivery

Pickup is switched on. Standard delivery is switched on. A customer still orders the UrbanStall way: items in the cart, cash on delivery or Razorpay, and a rider from the Dumka city partner when the order is a delivery. The vacation message is the shop saying they are clearing backlog orders and will open in a while. Until that changes, the tile is the wrong place to look. The stall link is the place the listing still lives.

Forty-seven categories

The catalog is a set of categories the stall itself named. There are 47. The names were:

  • Quick Sale (Near Expiry)
  • Perfumes and deodorants
  • Atta, flours and sooji

  • Chocolate, candy and confectionery
  • Cells, batteries and LED bulbs

A few of those categories carry a line the shop wrote under the name. Atta, flours and sooji says freshness in every meal, and names atta, maida, besan, sooji, and sattu. Cooking oils and ghee says healthy cooking starts here, and names cooking oils and ghee. Fresh vegetables says farm fresh, every day. Fresh milk, dairy, bread and sweets says freshness delivered every day, and names milk, dairy, bread, and sweets. The masala category is named for Everest, Catch, MDH, and Goldiee, and the line under it says to bring authentic taste to every meal. Dry fruits says healthy snacking and names dry fruits, nuts, and dates. These lines are the shop's. They are not a counted stock, and they are not a price.

The Quick Sale category carries the shop's own line that those products are approaching their expiry date. This post does not add a discount, a date, or a brand count on top of that line. The other category blurbs are the shop's too. They name the kind of product in the category. They are not a price list, and this post does not copy one.

A second listing

A second listing on UrbanStall is named Grocery kirana wifi. It is also approved, and it is also tagged Groceries & Essentials. That listing has no address and no note. It is a different stall record from KiranaWiFi. This post does not merge the two, and it does not guess that they are the same counter.

KiranaWiFi is the stall with the SP College Road pin, the Rasikpur address line, the home-delivery note, and the category list above. The note says grocery, kirana, and household items, delivered in Dumka. The categories match that sentence: food staples, cleaning, puja, baby care, and the rest of a household shop, not a restaurant menu. The plan on record is to make Kirana Wifi a partner, not only a stall listing. That step is still a plan. What a customer can open today is the stall.

Dumka is one of the cities with a city partner. The home page files a grocery stall under Groceries & Essentials after the customer picks Dumka at urbanstall.app/explore?dumka. The same page is where the other tiles live: food, fruit, cakes, dairy, meat, gifts, halls, rooms, and laundry. KiranaWiFi's tag is the groceries tile, not the food tile. A restaurant on the food list is a different stall.

How a stall joins

How any shop, including this one, goes from a name to a live tile is How a stall joins. A store is created with a name, sits under Opening soon, and shows on a city list after it is approved, tagged, and not on vacation. KiranaWiFi is past Opening soon. It is approved. Vacation is what takes it off the tile for now.
