UrbanStall did not open in every city at once. The record of the company names two starts. The first city was Thane, in 2018. The second was Dumka, in January 2019. This page does not give a start year to any later city. What it can do is say which places are on the public picker, which of them are partner cities, and what the live lists showed on 6 July 2026.

The only start dates on this page are Thane in 2018 and Dumka in January 2019.

The pictures are drawings. They are not maps with names, and they are not photographs of these towns. A stall is counted below only when it was on the public list that day: approved, not on vacation, and carrying the tag for that tile. A later day can add a stall or drop one.

What the platform is, before any city, is What UrbanStall is. A single shop joining is a different gate from a city opening. That shop path is How a stall joins. Creating a store does not put a new town on the picker.

Thane, 2018

Thane is the 2018 start. On the public website the city picker does not offer Thane. The picker that a customer sees lists Dumka, Godda, Deoghar, Jamtara, Pakur, Sahebganj, Jarmundi/Basukinath, and Mahagama. Thane is not in that row. On 6 July 2026 a query at the Thane pin, for food, groceries, fruit, cakes, sweets, gifts, halls, rooms, and laundry, returned no stalls. This page does not turn that empty query into a story about why Thane is off the picker. It records the year the company gives for the opening, and it records that the public picker and those tiles did not show Thane stalls that day.

Dumka, January 2019

Dumka is the January 2019 start. It is on the picker, and it is a partner city. On 6 July 2026 the Dumka food list had 41 stalls, and every address on that list said Dumka. The city page is Dumka. A walk through the shops that were on the Dumka tiles that day, not only food, is Stalls on UrbanStall in Dumka. Five food stalls by review count are Five food places in Dumka. Those posts are readings of the lists. They are not a claim that those shops were the January 2019 set. This page does not name the first Dumka stall, because the record used here does not.

Partner cities and the picker

A partner city, in the company record, is Dumka, Godda, Sahibganj, or Jamtara. The person for that city runs riders and collections there. Jarmundi is the place the company runs itself. The picker spells Sahibganj as Sahebganj, and it spells the company-run place as Jarmundi/Basukinath. The company page spells Sahibganj with an i, and it spells Jarmundi as Jharmundi. The stall addresses checked on 6 July 2026 used Sahibganj, Jarmundi, and Basukinath. This page keeps both spellings and does not correct a stall's pin.

Godda

Godda is a partner city. The Godda food list had 39 stalls that day, and every address said Godda. One of them is Royal Biryani, with a pin at Godda, Jharkhand 814133. Royal Spoon and Dawat E Khas were also on that food list, with Godda pins. This page does not rank them. It uses one named stall so the city is not only a count. No start year for Godda is on the record this page is using.

Jamtara

Jamtara is a partner city. The Jamtara food list had 16 stalls, and every address said Jamtara. Avantika Food Garden pins Jamtara Bazar, Bazar Road, Kayesthapara, Jamtara. The Sugar & Slice and Chola Bhatura Centre were on the same list. No start year for Jamtara is stated here.

Sahibganj

Sahebganj on the picker is Sahibganj in the partner list and on the stall pins. The Sahebganj food list had 23 stalls that day, and every address said Sahibganj. Chaina Town is the listing name, spelled CHAINA on the stall, with a pin at Gandhi Chowk, Sahibganj. The city page is Sahebganj. No start year is stated here.

Jarmundi and Basukinath

Jarmundi is company-run, not one of the four partner cities in that sentence. The picker label is Jarmundi/Basukinath, and the city page is Jarmundi. The food list had 10 stalls. Five addresses said Jarmundi. Five said Basukinath. Tathastu Restaurant pins Jarmundi, Jharkhand. Santushti The Family Restaurant pins Nandi Chowk, Dumka Road, Basukinath. They share the picker entry. They do not share one pin. A region can be on UrbanStall without being a new district capital. This list is that shape. No start year is stated here.

Deoghar

Deoghar is on the picker. It is not in the partner-city sentence above. The Deoghar food list had 3 stalls, and each address said Deoghar. Deoghar Foods pins Baidyanath Dham Railway Holiday Home, Castairs Town, Bompas Town, Deoghar. Express Nasta and R K Breakfast were the other two food stalls. The same day, the Deoghar pin also returned stalls on groceries, fruit, cakes, sweets, and gifts. The city page is Deoghar. Being on the picker with open stalls is not the same sentence as being a partner city. This page keeps those apart. No start year is stated here.

Pakur

Pakur is on the picker. The food query returned no stalls. Groceries returned one: Custom Order P., with a pin that says Pakur, Jharkhand, India. Fruit, cakes, sweets, gifts, halls, rooms, and laundry returned none at that pin that day. The city page is Pakur. One grocery stall is a real listing. It is not a food scene, and it is not a launch date.

Mahagama

Mahagama is on the picker. Food, groceries, fruit, cakes, sweets, gifts, halls, rooms, and laundry all returned no stalls at that pin on 6 July 2026. The city page is Mahagama. An empty set of tiles means a customer who opened those lists that day did not meet a stall. It does not by itself say the town was never added to the picker. The picker already contains the name.

A city is not a stall

A city and a stall stay different after the lists are counted. The stall is one shop. The city is the place the customer picks, and the stalls around that pin are what the tile shows. Partner cities in the record are four. The picker is eight names, and Thane, the 2018 city, is not among them. Jarmundi is on the picker and is run by the company. Deoghar, Pakur, and Mahagama are on the picker without being in that partner list. Counts above are food unless another tile is named. They were read on 6 July 2026. They will move when a stall is approved, tagged, or marked on vacation.

Support for the product is support@urbanstall.app. The Android package is com.lawazia.urbanstall. The iOS app id is 1357209470. Payment on an order is cash on delivery or Razorpay. None of those facts is a city start date. The only start dates this page states are Thane in 2018 and Dumka in January 2019.
